Can Akaltan CMM General Manager, at IC Cesme Marina comments:

“At the marina we are committed to doing our best for the environment and actively encourage all who visit the marina to be a part of our green initiatives. We have successfully launched two campaigns in the last two years to help the environment; our award-winning olive oil is harvested each year  and we have received recognition not only in Ankara in Turkey for this effort but also  in Westminster, London, in addition,  we have launched live mussels into the marina, creating a colony of mussels to help combat water pollution, through their natural ability to  filter water. Our recent achievement for the Olive Oil Project, is a testament to our hardworking and dedicated teams, plus loyal customers who continue to help support us under our friendly ethos of, ‘I am Happy Here’.

Akaltan continues, “Future-proofing the environment around the marina and ensuring future generations will be able to benefit from the olive trees is what the marina team are striving for, ensuring they keep the olive tree and Olive Oil Project very much alive.”

Furthermore, IC Cesme Marina is a full-service marina located in Cesme, Turkey berthing superyachts and yachts throughout the year, ranging in size from 10m-60m.

You’ll find yourself enchanted by the marina village’s numerous elegant cafés and fine eateries, and also attracted to the marine fashion retail outlets and designer boutiques of the modern retail complex.

This romantic ancient harbour is a wonderful place to visit, an ideal base for berthing or wintering your yacht and a perfect home marina from which to cruise in Turkey or sail the Aegean – with the idyllic isles of Chios and Lesbos just a short sail away.
