Çeşme Marina is welcoming anglers, boating enthusiasts, families and visitors for four days of sport and entertainment as the Bluefin Fishing Tournament takes place at the marina from 3rd to 6th September.
Bringing together 25 competing boats, the tournament celebrates the region’s strong connection with the sea and fishing, while creating a lively programme of activities ashore for competitors and visitors alike.
For the occasion, Çeşme Marina’s boatyard has been transformed into a dedicated event village, creating a vibrant waterfront setting at the heart of the marina.
The programme began with a relaxed opening event featuring talks, live music and a wide selection of food and drink, setting the scene for the competition and festivities to follow.
Beyond the fishing itself, visitors can explore a variety of stands showcasing boats and outboard engines, fishing equipment, clothing and lifestyle products, alongside specialist exhibitors and a publishing house. Food and beverage stands add to the atmosphere, while dedicated children’s activities ensure there is plenty for younger visitors to enjoy too.
The result is much more than a fishing tournament. The event has created a true festival atmosphere at Çeşme Marina, bringing together the boating community, local residents and visitors in celebration of life on and around the Aegean Sea.
